Teri is a retired Community School Coordinator and Gary is a retired set carpenter in the film industry. We love to travel and enjoy new adventures. We are quite open to a variety of opportunities and although we are fairly new to the home exchange system have thoroughly enjoyed our first exchange this year to Ireland. We're hooked. What a great way to travel and see different communities and parts of the world. We are respectful of your space and belongings and hope to have an opportunity to explore the world now that we're both retired and have the flexibility. We will occasionally travel with one or two family members.

Read More...Fantastic exchange. This was a non simultaneous exchange and although we had met our hosts in Ireland during their stay we were a little apprehensive about having them so close to us in the main house. We need not have worried. Teri and Gary were fantastic hosts, welcoming and helpful but still respecting our privacy. They made the holiday the best we have experienced with Homelink. They could not do enough for us. The fridge was full of food and they left us local wines. The Garden Suite was the perfect size with everything you would need for your stay. The lovely patio area outside the french doors was a real bonus. We were only 10 minutes walk from public transport and a wide range of restaurants and shops. A wonderful holiday. Vancouver is a must see destination, so clean, safe and scenic.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
We are respectful and mindful of homes we exchange with and expect the same in return. We expect to have our home left in a clean and tidy manner as will we with our exchange partners. Depending on the length of the stay we appreciate a watering of a few houseplants and garden. We would have our neighbours help with any outdoor plants, unless you want to water of course :) In the summer we have vegetable and flower gardens available to you.
