There is plenty to do and see in the area around - 2 weeks were not enough to explore everything. Easy communication before and during our stay. It was nice to meet Randy, Nina and their daughters on our last evening in Vancouver - thank you all for a wonderful exchange!

Read More...We enjoy every day of our stay in Vancouver. The spacious house lies in a quiet part of North Vancouver, half way between the Pacific Coast and the Grouse Mountain. Coffee shops, library, grocery, bakery and butchery are easy to reach by foot. A direct bus goes over the impressive Lions Gate Bridge to Vancouver Downtown at least twice an hour during the day. Sitting on one of the terraces we enjoyed Vancouver's impressive waterfront day after day. Nina and her family let us feel like at home. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a single family house located in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver. The house has 3 bedrooms with queen size beds and 2 full bathrooms. There are three covered decks with furniture and a BBQ. Our backyard is quite spacious with flower beds and a vegetable garden.
Our mother lives in the nanny suite, which has a separate entrance. Although she will not be travelling with us, she will not require any assistance or attention from you. It's a very quiet street with only 6 houses on it, yet the Edgemont Village shopping area is just 10 minutes away. Here, you will find coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, medical clinics, and other amenities. Vancouver city centre can be easily accessed by bus from our house. Buses are available every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during off-peak hours.
