Older 2 story home overlooking the beautiful, mighty Niagara River. Situated in the small town of Fort Erie Ontario, it offers the small town charm as well as the cultural amenities of larger urban centres that are close by. Buffalo NY is only 10 minutes away, Niagara Falls 15 minutes, St. Catharines 30 minutes, Hamilton 50 minutes, and Toronto is only 90 minutes away. There is plenty of history in the area with major War of 1812 battlefields right in the neighbourhood. Championship golf courses are just around the corner. Boating and fishing right at your front door. Fine dining, famous restaurants, culture and Broadway shows are close by. A great spot to use as a base camp and explore the surrounding areas or just to hang out and have fun.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
There sure is a lot to do around here. First of all, in the summer, boating and fishing are right at your front door, some of the nicest beaches in the world are just a short drive away and championship golf courses are literally just around the corner, a bike and walking path is right at the front door. Historic Old Fort Erie is just a few minute drive, the wonder and majesty of the Falls at Niagara are only a short distance. Canoeing and kayaking nature - eco tours leave right from your dock. Culture and fine dining are also close. This is a very interesting part of the world and very close to where you will be staying.

It is important to treat the premises with respect, as I am sure you would in your own home. Smoking is not allowed in the house but is ok outside or in the garage. Pets are fine as long as they are controlled and cleaned up after. The bicycles, canoes and boats are for your enjoyment but please be careful. Please help yourself to any foodstuffs that may be in the cupboards but replace what you use. Enjoy yourself.
