Neighbourhood

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

We live 10 minutes by car away from the quaint towns of Courtenay and Comox. This is a rural residential area which is close to nature and forest trails leading to Seal Bay Park. The homes are all privately owned and lived in by owners. Properties range from half an acre to 5 acres. People that live in this area love to garden, connect with nature, bicycle, golf, kayak and hike. It is not unusual to see a rider on horseback in the trails or on our street. Step out of our door and walk into magnificent trails with giant trees
such as Cedar and Douglas Fir. There are kilometers of trails right across the street that will lead you all the way to the ocean for a picnic. Our neighbors are friendly and helpful and most have pets such as dogs and cats. We have lived in this house for 28 years and found our home and area an ideal place to raise 2 sons. They grew up playing outdoors and experiencing nature all around them in this safe, quiet, clean and beautiful environment. Lucky us!
