Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a quiet sunny house and pleasant garden with terrace and fountain. We have a fully equiped spacious kitchen (with dishwasher) and a large light living room. In our garage there will be bicycles available as well as a variety of outdoor games such as pingpong, badminton and table football. We have some gym equipment indoors and there is a beautiful park at the end of the street. The city of Mechelen is only 20 minutes away by bike and there are cycle paths along the river that can take you on a scenic route to the nearby towns. We have a cat but except for feeding her in the evening she can take care of herself. If you'd like we have an infrared sauna available upstairs. And we also exchange our car.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in a cozy village in the north of Mechelen. Our village is quite peacefull and has a backery, , a café and a night shop. The supermarket is about 10 minutes drive and every saturday there is a big market in the centre of Mechelen. The park at the end of our street has some historical buildings and a café with terrace and playground. There is an old WWII fort around wich is a walking trail. There's a trainstation nearby (15 min by bike, 5 min. by car) that can take you to Antwerp or Brussels in 30 minutes, and from the mainstation in Mechelen you can take a train to Holland or the Thalys to Paris (2h and a half). If you wanna drive; both Antwerp and Brussels are 30 min away and easily accesible since the highway is only 5 min away. And if you want to visit Holland that is about 1 hour drive.
