Spacious street level apartment, with no internal stairs, of 125 sq m + balcony, in a block of 12 units. Three bedrooms, one used as a study, two bathrooms (see photos), separate internal laundry. Five minute walk to Lane Cove Plaza - good shopping, services, restaurants. Twenty minutes to Sydney by public transport - beaches, shopping, museums, restaurants, live entertainment etc.
Easy access to Blue Mountains heritage area, Canberra and Hunter Valley Wine area. The apartment is a great place to relax, and enjoy reading our novels or watching some of our 600 DVDs.
Wifi available for all your wifi toys. No car offered but, if one is needed, Bayswater Car Rental (local) has very cheap cars (AU$25 per day for an auto Toyota Corolla).

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighbourhood is a quiet, leafy suburb on the lower north shore of Sydney with easy bus or train access to Sydney CBD. It has a small village shopping complex including two large supermarkets, a new Harris Farm, pharmacies, banks, cafes and restaurants situated around an open landscaped plaza only five minutes walk from our apartment. Lane Cove is one of the "eat streets" of the Lower North Shore. There is a large, modern aquatic centre nearby, several gyms, a local library and a small art gallery.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our apartment is a five minute walk to Lane Cove Village which has excellent shopping, cafes and restaurants, as well as a modern library. Just nearby is the modern aquatic centre and gymnasium. Lane Cove National Park is a few minutes by car, as is the Woolwich ferry to the CBD (Circular Quay), a very pleasant alternative to the bus or train. Sydney city has many cultural attractions - museums, galleries, theatres and the iconic Opera House. Further afield is the Central Coast, the Hunter Valley wineries and the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains.
