Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are an energetic retired couple and keen to arrange long term exchanges, in Italy in September 2016.
Our comfortable apartment has recently been completed and we moved in on 5 October 2014. It is only 2km from the heart of Brisbane, capital of the sunshine state of Queensland. Brisbane is close to both the Gold and Sunshine Coasts with numerous beaches and attractions.
Our 3rd Floor, 3 bedroom apartment is in a new apartment complex and includes two swimming pools, a gymnasium and other communal facilities. The apartment complex is contained in an Urban Village, with restaurants, shopping, markets, cultural and sports facilities all within walking distance.
The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are separate dining and living areas, and a modern galley kitchen with European appliances. A spacious deck overlooks a golf course. The apartment is fully air conditioned and has fast internet and WiFi

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our apartment is walking distance from numerous Restaurants and Cafes including Asian and Australian cuisine. A long established theatre is also minutes away by foot. Every Saturday, a Market for produce and arts and crafts is held outside our front door.
The Brisbane CBD is less than 2km away and a regular bus service is 300 metres from the apartment.
Brisbane City has everything to offer and is built around River life. There are regular ferry services on the river linking many tourist attractions.
The Brisbane Cultural scene is on the river and 10 min by bus from our apartment. It includes Art Galleries, Theatres and an Exhibition Centre.
Within 20 min walk is a Cinema complex, pubs and restaurants. The Gold Coast is approx. 1 hr drive South of Brisbane on a freeway easily accessed from the apartment. Similarly, the Sunshine Coast is 1 hr 30 min North.
