Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Bicheon is a lovely friendly village with safe swimming at Waubs Bay. It is very quiet in the winter season as many of the houses are holiday homes. There is still plenty to do with many great restaurants and seaside walks. Not far from the famous Freycinet Peninsular and Wine Glass Bay. Fresh seafood every day as the local fisherman go out every night. Wonderful penguin tours around the foreshores and whale watching in the seasons. Lots of top wineries close by and 5 minutes out of town wildlife centre with wombats Tasmanian devils etc. 15okm from Hobart and Launceston with picturesque small historical villages on the way. The Eastern Coast is renowned fro its mil weather and beautiful pristine beaches.
