  We had a wonderful time in Marc's and Maura's home. A very cosy and spacious place with a little courtyard to eat outside during summer time. The house is just in front of Victoria Park, so it was a nice walk into town, Stockbridge or Dean village. 5 minutes to the fish market of Newhaven, 10 minutes to the botanical garden or the port of Leith. Since we were there in the beginning of August, we could spent some time at the Edinburgh festival. Thank you so much for everything! Susanne and Alain

  We liked very much our stay in Leith/Edinburgh. The nicest part of Edinburgh with a lot of cozy bars and restaurants! The house was spacious, comfortable, well decorated and a great park on the other site of the road. We loved to go along the Water of Leith with the bicycles and see the center of the city, the beach (although we hadn't really nice weather) and the castles. When we come back to Edinburgh we definitely like to stay in Leith again.

  Maura and Mark are very friendly hosts, their house is very comfortable, the neighborhood is beautiful and the bus stop to go to the historic district of Edinburgh is in front of the house . I recommend exchanges with Maura and Mark

  Our Edinburgh exchange was a wonderfull time. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Victorian house. And a warm welcome by Maura and Mark themselves. Excellent to explore Edinburgh and easily to reach the centre with bus 11 with a busstop in the street. House is well equipped, all you need is available. Recommended.

  Enjoyed a delightful stay in Maura's comfortable home close to Newhaven (good seafood restaurant) and Leith (restaurants, shops, harbour). A bus stop right outside the house made for an easy trip into the centre of Edinburgh. We enjoyed the galleries and shops in the city, a walk around the Botanic Gardens and a lovely day by the sea in North Berwick. A perfect place for enjoying all Edinburgh has to offer. We'd love to return.
