  We loved the chalet, which is beautifully made in the traditional style. The house had everything we needed to live comfortably. Isabelle and Stéphane left us the information we needed about hikes and points of interest. We especially enjoyed hiking the "bisses"--the channels that distribute water from the mountains to the valley. The chalet is ideally situated mid-way between the heights of Nendaz (which give access to the ski lifts) and the valley below. We visited the museums in Martigny, only 45 minutes away. The house is well-insulated, so that one has only to shut the windows to block the noise of passing traffic.
