• Maui: What's not to like?

  We had the pleasure of recently completing an exchange to Maui with great partners, Victor and Rita. It was my first trip to Hawaii and I was so impressed. Our two exchange condos, though on the small side, offered the best and closest ocean views we have ever had. The were both comfortable and comforting. They are located in a windy area, but this is more than offset by the views, easy access to a very nice wharf, several good restaurants and a wonderful ocean museum. But our favorite part of this location was the down-the-street access to a lovely, and usually quite secluded beach. We took several early morning walks there, greeted only by a Hawaiian man fishing with his two young sons. To us, this is true luxury. In addition, Victor's recommendations for attractions and restaurants in Maui (aka Vic's Picks) were outstanding. We following his advice like little ducklings behind their mother! Here are just a couple of examples. We enjoyed eating at Fleetwood (founded by Mick Fleetwood of Feetwood Mac) and the sunset ceremony. It provided a little deeper dive into below the surface Hawaiian culture. In addition, we ate at Mamas Fish House on his advice. . It was the best restaurant meal I have ever had! And, what an authentic ambiance. We also did an exceptionally scenic drive, the west Maui scenic loop-certainly a road less travelled- and not for the faint of heart if narrow roads are a problem, but wow. Just take your time and enjoy the soaring vistas. Along the way we stopped to meet a Hawaiian friend of Victor's who gave us a brief tour of the property and history, only to finish with some a local favorite-shaved ice. In sum, it is so easy to highly recommend both Maui as an exchange destination, and Victor and Rita as your partners.

• A Lovely Condo overlooking the Ocean!

  Our stay at Victor and Rita's Condo in Maalaea, Maui was magical from beginning to the end. Not only is the condo only a few steps from the Ocean, it is clean, convenient and well-equipped with many amenities including a pool, hottub, outdoor BBQ, etc. Communication with Victor was always prompt and efficient and Victor provided valuable information on local dining and activities that made our stay even better. It was truly a pleasure doing this exchange with Victor and Rita and look forward to welcoming them to our part of the world! John and Marian

• What a beautiful spot!

  This was a great location with a beautiful view. It was convenient to everything, we had our own beach, pool, bar-b-que and jacuzzi. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and thanks to Vic's great recommendations, we found some that were hidden treasures. The condo was equipped with everything you needed to enjoy the beach and it was very comfortable for two people. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable and we would certainly look forward to doing it again.
