One of our best short exchanges, with a nice balance of visiting local attractions and simply relaxing in and enjoying the house.

A very clean and comfortable home for us to enable us to enjoy the Peaks and Dales and to come back to at the end of the day. A another very successful house exchange 5*
A good location to explore all the Peak District of Derbyshire with other walking nearer to the house. The big town of Chesterfield is nearby with a huge market and good shops. There are several swimming pools nearby including a fabulous open air community run one in Hathersage where we went twice - as it so sunny we had a lovely time. There is a very private garden to sit at the house and several stately houses nearby including the National Trust house called Hardwick, also Hadden Hall and the large Chatsworth House. We went to Bakewell on market day, Monday, it was very busy and lively.
