  A beautiful house, in the middle of nature. The house is, by itself, a good reason to go. In addition, from her we have visited Turku, Helsinki, Tallinn and Sanpetersburgo. It has been a beautiful experience for both our granddaughters and for us. Thanks for your attention. Recommended for all Homelink members

  We had a wonderful 2 week stay in Tom and Karin's lovely modern Finish home only 300 mts from, Picalla Golf Course the best course in Scandanavia. The Restaurant is open to public 7 days a week and food and staff were 1st class. Set in lovely wooded location 30 mins from Helsinki it is ideally located to experience the great outdoor opportunities that Finland has to offer.Helsinki and Tampere are beautiful cities and we found the Local people very helpfull and english is spoken by everyone. Porvoo is a lovely Finish country town on the river and Suomenlinna Island is a World Heritage site is also a Must to visit. Great shopping in Esbo is only 15 mins away .We spent a night in Talinn in Estonia and travelled on the great Ferry Service that operate from Helsinki. Joan and I had a holiday to remember.

  Finland is a wonderful country, and when you arrive near the lake, in the beech woods, to the wooden house of Tom and Karin, it is just amazing.. The house is just awesome, and also the terrace with the fish smoker that we did not know ! There are a lot of very nice places to discover, near the sea (Porkkala Hanko...) or the lakes (Vitträsk) or the archipelago (Turku) and Hesinki of course. This exchange was absolutely PERFECT. Thank you Karin and Tom !
