  We felt very much at home in the house and enjoyed the surroundings and the local village. We found plenty to do in the area including the lovely city of Nantes, the beautiful beaches around Pornic, the many wineries and scenery of the Loire valley and also the fascinating Lac du Grand Lieu (largest lake in France in the winter and a haven for birds) which was within cycling distance. Erwin and Sandrine and their 4 children left our home in immaculate condition.

  For personal reasons on our side, we could not go to France. That's why we cannot make any comments on the surrounding and the house. However, the family was very flexible and understanding, they took great care of our house and left it immaculately. Communication was straight, precise and friendly! Good luck on your future swaps!
