• A cozy and lovely home in Reykjavík

  We had a fabulous exchange with Olof's family. We felt very comfortable, as if we were at home. They have a very nice house in Reykjavík, which allows you to discover many fantastic places in Iceland. We were very lucky and met the family twice in Barcelona. That was great! They are a very nice family. We highly recommend to exchange home with them.

  Not only was the home of Helgi quite cosy and certainly well located (we always walked into town unless I was in need of a bike ride) but they left us the most splendid weather Reykjavik had experienced in years. Sun from early morning till night! Thanks so much. Going on tour with the comfortable and economic French car was also quite fun. Gabi and I competed who would use even less gasoline (5l/100km was the limit). We could make it for the Golden circle, 1 short trip to the South and a wonderful drive through Snaefjellsness, including the hike to Glymur. Reykjavik reminds a little bit of San Francisco, one of the most beutiful cities I know. We would certainly have been doing more shopping and dining out but actually the price level was slightly to high for that.
