  Great hospitality in this large, comfortable house with nice, quiet terrasse & garden & chickens who gave us eggs! Bakery, restaurant, train station & open air swimming pool are all at walking distance. We loved exploring the neigbourhood by bike, especially the trips to Rothsee & to the family fish pond! Places of interest we recommend: Maybach museum in Neumarkt, Würzburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, München, Bamberg, Regensburg, Nürnberg: Prozess Memorium, Documentation Center Nazi Party, Imperial Castle, museum of modern art... and of course lots of Biergartens & Winestuben in Bayern. Recommended location!

  Andrea and Horst, Thank you for sharing your beautiful home in quiet Postbauer-Heng with us for two weeks, following our Viking River Boat cruise. The wine and chocolates were appreciated. While staying in Postbauer-Heng, we were able to travel by train numerous times to nearby Nuremburg and Numarket. Both towns were worth visiting. We spent 3 days in Bamburg, where Dan's mother was born. We stayed in a Kloister in the middle of Old Town. The area between the river and canal was filled with restaurants and shopping. We would recommend a visit if possible. Your chickens are beautiful and we had fun gathering eggs and feeding them. Having fresh eggs each morning was so nice. This exchange had everything. A beautiful house, walking distance to grocery store, a good Italian restaurant and ice cream shop. You will be close to the train station which will take you to many beautiful places.   A wonderful quiet location in good proximity to Nuremburg, Bamberg, Regensburg and Munich. Horst and Andrea were easy to coomunicate with, experienced exchangers and are a super lovely couple. We spent two beautiful weeks in this home and made day trips allover Bavaria. The trains offer a Bavarian day ticket for a very reasonable price allowing you to discover some of its many hidden gems. This home is in a beautiful rural area with acess to wonderful biking and hiking areas. The chickens were easy to care for. Overall,a wonderful home exchange experience. Thanks Horst and Andrea!

  Andrea & Horst, thank you for a great week in your house in Postbauer-Heng! The house is wonderful with a perfect terrace for the warm evenings. Peter enjoyed taking care of your hens and we both enjoyed the fresh eggs every morning :) There are a lot of beautiful towns nearby and of course Nüirnberg with its beautiful centre and WWII history. We will definately recommend this house! The communication with Andrea and Horst went perfectly both before and during the exchange. Best wishes Anita & Peter

  We had a great time in Postbauer-Heng - a beautiful house and garden in a lovely town with great countryside and places to explore. Horst and Andrea made us feel very welcome in their home, which is very big and comfortable. They also have a wonderful garden!! We had several great trips to towns such as Nuremburg and Bamburg, where there is so much to see. The local lakes are great for swimming and there are many good walks. Our children had a wonderful time. And the local beer is superb! Thank you very much. Helen and Matthew.

  La vacanza in Baviera è stata fantastica. La villa è molto accogliente sia all'interno che all'esterno, il giardino curatissimo e pieno di fiori! Un gattino simpaticissimo , molto indipendente, ti fa compagnia e 4 magnifiche gallinelle offrono ogni giorno tre uova freschissime! Il paese è ordinato, la gente è cordiale e vi sono piste ciclabili e per passeggiate a contatto con la natura. A pochi minuti si può visitare la bella città di Norimberga alla quale si può arrivare con frequenti e comodissimi treni. I supermercati sono ben forniti e....sorpresa... i prezzi più economici dell'Italia.Il carburante costa meno che in Italia e le autostrade gratuite! Cosa si può desiderare di più? viva la Baviera

• LOVELY BIG HOUSE IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION TO VISIT

  We have enjoyed our stay in Postbauer-Heng, just 30 km. south of Nürnberg very much. The house is well equipped with all the necessary, in a quiet village, but with all the comforts at walking distance, like supermarket, banks, postoffice, etc. The location of Postbauer-Heng is ideal to visit Bayern, with its lovely towns, villages and scenery. Also very appropriate for cycling tours, or just walking, as nearly all villages are connected with cycling paths away from the main traffic on the roads. We have felt very much at home and would highly recommend and exchange with this family. Our house and garden was also well looked after.

  Für ein paar Tage konnten wir im Haus von Andrea und Horst herrlich ausspannen. Durch die Nähe zu Nürnberg, Bamberg, zum Altmühltal und auch zu Prag, bietet es einen idealen Ausgangspunkt. Dies natürlich auch für schöne Radtouren in der näheren Umgebung. Die Versorgung der Katze war eine Freude, die Eier der Hühner köstlich. Wir könne diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.
