I have a two-bedroom townhouse in a condominium in north Florida. The townhouse sits on the main canal to the Intracoastal seaway so the views are lovely. It is walled and with saltwater, so alligators are not an issue. Boats pass frequently, and paddleboards and party boats can be rented up the road. The townhouse community has a large, beautiful swimming pool that is rarely used, and it is two miles from a beautiful public beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Bike trails abound in the community, though I have no bikes. I am sure rentals are available. A public golf course is across the street, and shopping is a mile away. The townhouse is about 1.5 hour's drive to both Walt Disney World and Cape Canaveral. Ocala National Forest with it's natural springs is only a 30 minute drive, as is the Daytona International Speedway. The house is neat, comfortable and lovely, though nothing fancy. It is my haven, my serene place, that I offer to others who are able to keep it that way.
