We knew nothing about this part of the US before our exchange. But what a perfect place it was for us, perfect location within Asheville, so central to so many great eateries, so many things to see and do, with lots and lots of beautiful walks and bike rides within an hours drive from the appartment. Even after 2mths we still didnt do them all. The appartment had all we needed and felt like home.

Bill and Katie are wonderful hosts who have a beautiful spacious condo right in the heart of downtown Asheville. We really enjoyed being able to walk to all of the restaurants and brew pubs. We were able to hit the major tourist attractions (Biltmore and Grove Park Inn) with a short car ride. Of course being able to park off-street in their parking garage was a big bonus. There were so many things to do in Asheville that it seemed as if our two week exchange was over before it started.
