Our closest airport is either Leeds/Bradford or Manchester. 2.5 hours on the train to London and 4 to Edinburgh.

Welcome to our newly renovated home in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We have spent 2 years bringing life back into an architect designed mid-century bungalow and are ready to begin exchanging again.

The house is situated at the end of a small cul de sac of beautiful Victorian houses and has its own private entrance and spacious driveway. We are surrounded by trees and greenery.

Our home is all on one level with 2 steps down into the kitchen area. All floors are tiled with underfloor heating throughout, rugs and we have a cosy log burner. We have tried to recycle and re-use a number of the original features including a Japanese style shoji screen and beautiful teak wardrobe doors. The house is furnished simply with a mix of antiques, mid-century furniture and simple Ikea pieces.

The space comprises a large hallway, utility room and garage, open plan kitchen, dining, lounge, separate games room with projector and TV. The second hallway has a digital piano and a few other small instruments and this leads to the house shower room, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with bunkbeds and the master suite including en-suite bathroom with doors leading onto the large wrap around deck.

The house is sunny and warm and has lots of natural light from the many big windows!

We are passionate about creating a warm and calming environment to live and relax in. We have tried to make our home feel as holiday like as possible and have taken influence from some of the places we've visited through home exchange.

The garden is big and wraps around the property, as does the large deck which runs along the back of property. Although we are minutes away from shops and restaurants the garden is very secluded and you feel a little like you are in the countryside with lots of wildlife. We haven't managed to landscape all of the garden yet so it is a little wild in places! We have a large hot tub and wooden surfboard swing hanging from the huge cedar tree.

We've have built a large, wood-framed home yoga studio / gym in the garden which is a great additional space you'd be welcome to use, complete with rowing machine, Kettlebells, gymnastic stall bars and a pull up/ring row bar. We have a fire pit, covered eating area and bbq plus hot tub. Inside we have a table tennis net and bats plus cricket and rounders sets plus various games and some toys for younger children.

We're within 2 minutes walk of a 700 acre park with lakes, bike trails and cafes and the house and garden feel very tucked away and quiet despite being so close to local bars, cafes and shops.
