An excellent long weekend. Communication was good with Neil and Heidi. The house was lovely and well equipped, in a good location for exploring Suffolk. The cats were a delight.

We loved staying in Heidi and Neil's beautiful, well-organised home! Nice village with handy access to the rest of Suffolk. We'd love to return one day!

This was our first stay in Suffolk, one we will never forget and would love to repeat. Neil & Heidi’s home is beautiful, tastefully furnished with fantastic views and lovely gardens. Their thoughtful welcome gifts and comprehensive guest information pack helped get our exchange off to a flying start. There was so much to see and do that we felt we only just scratched the surface. Our mix of ‘lazy morning’ starts and busy touring days were complemented by returning to their comfortable, cosy home, complete with their easily managed family cats.

Our exchange to Neil and Heidi’s home in Capel St Mary was most enjoyable. We benefitted from some lovely autumnal weather, so we were out and about every day, but we loved coming back to enjoy Neil and Heidi’s beautiful home. Their house is very well equipped which made it very easy for us to self-cater. Capel St Mary has some very handy shops and a Chinese take away ( which we used and enjoyed). It is a great base from which to explore Suffolk . We visited Sutton Hoo, Long Melford, Dedham Vale and various coastal villages such as Wivenhoe. We loved walking in the local area on the well-marked foot paths. Finally, on our return, our house and garden was just as we'd left it. Thank you, Neil , Heidi, Oliver and Bruno the dog , for enabling us to have a very happy week.

We felt very fortunate to be staying in this lovely home and were exceptionally well-provided for by Neil and Heidi. The property makes a very comfortable base for exploring this part of the world. We particularly enjoyed our visit to Pin Mill and the Suffolk Food Hall. Highly recommended.

We have had a fabulous exchange in Capel St Mary. Neil and Heidi have been extremely accommodating and their home is absolutely stunning. The accommodation is spacious and immaculately clean and comfortable. We visited lots of places during our stay and time just flew past. We spent two weeks in Capel St Mary, a good base for daytrips. Among others we saw the English North Sea Coast with its beautiful beaches. We went to London and Cambridge. Weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful time there. Neils and Heidi's house is very comfortable and they are great hosts.

Wonderful swap and a beautiful house, the family were very kind and left us a small hamper with wine, chocolate and other items. The house was perfect and we were made to feel very at home. The welcome pack was fantastic so we are going to take some of the ideas from this home pack and update ours. The house was given special touches such as shower gels left with the clean towels and a quiche made for our arrival. This was one of my favourite house swaps and there was so much to do in the area which was made easy by the wealth of information that had been left. Thank you for making our stay so special.
