Thank you for two exciting weeks in this interesting city! Lucy's and Simon's home is the ideal base for a holiday. Situated in a quiet street, everything you need is in walking distance: Beach, sights, shopping areas, open air theatre, pubs and restaurants, and even the station for trips to London. We went hiking in the South Downs, visited some beautiful gardens (Prairie Garden was our favourite), made trips to London and Arundel and realised once more that England is a perfect country for holidays. Lucy and Simon were wonderful hosts. On our arrival we found not only a freshly baked cake, but a complete homemade dinner, all bedrooms were super tidy and perfectly prepared for us with plenty of space in the wardrobes, and Betty, the cat, gave us a warm welcome and made us feel completely at home.

We had a great week in Brighton. House very confortable situated in a quiet area but not far from city center. Bus stop 3 minutes away. Our grandchildren (3 and 6) loved the house with all the floors to hide. Beautiful sea side with cliffs (Seven Sisters) back country for walking (Devil's Dike) city lanes and beachfront. We loved our time in Brighton. The house is spacious and well equipped and our kids loved to care for the cat. We spent many hours at the waterfront paddling on the SUP-boards or swimming or playing in the waves. Only a short drive by car, bus or train we hiked through beautiful places in the South Downs National Park. And of course we made a day trip to London, the train station is only a short walk away. It was our first time that we exchanged cars and it worked fine. It was a pleasure for all of us to swap with Lucy, Simon and their kids.

Comfortable family mid terrace house over 3 floors, easy walking distance to the vibrant, artistic, colourful city centre with great places to eat, the sea, the train station for easy and fast access to London, Lewes, Eastbourne and other historic places,as well as easy access to the Downs for walking and mountain biking the ‘South Downs way’
The master bedroom has a king size bed and en suit bathroom.
The second bedroom has a double bed, the third bedroom has a single bed and the forth bedroom has a single bed. There is a separate toilet and a large
bathroom.
The kitchen opens onto the garden with comfortable outdoor furniture and fire pit.
We have a very friendly cat who adores children and is very low maintenance

Very friendly neighbours on both sides. We live in between 3 big parks with great play areas, places to play football and cricket and also table tennis and tennis. Our road is very quiet and very friendly

It is a longer walk to the sea front and the town centre including the famous Brighton Lanes and Pavilion. You can walk to the train station with easy access to London, the historic town of Lewes and Eastbourne
