We had a super week in Gill's spacious yet cosy home. It is very well situated for many interesting trips - lots of National Trust properties, gardens, ancient churches and Bury St Edmunds just a few miles away. All in all a very successful exchange. Many thanks Gill!

A lovely home and garden. Such thoughtful preparation for our visit. A wonderful introduction to beautiful rural Suffolk. Plenty to do and see as well and good places to eat out. Returned to a very clean and tidy home. A great exchange all round.

A great place to stay between Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds. We very much enjoyed cycling around the area as it is relatively flat after our home in Somerset and Bury St Eds has good train links to Ely, Newmarket, Cambridge and Ipswich so you can cycle one way with the wind behind you and catch the train against the wind!

Gill made us feel right at home in her wonderful house and delightful garden. The raspberries were delicious and the visiting birds a joy. A great spot to explore Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge. We enjoyed the market in Bury and the street food on offer was exceptional. We had a great day in Cambridge, driving to the park and ride cost £3 return for Chris and was free for me with my bus pass. Easy and great value. Punting on the river Cam and seeing the 7 magnificent colleges was a real treat. This long weekend exchange was everything we hoped. Highly Recommended.

We had a lovely time in Suffolk, being based in Gill’s very comfortable house and surrounded by her absolutely beautiful garden we were very well equipped to go out exploring, there was so much to do, historic houses, nature reserves, and the local towns and villages were so attractive, we were very impressed that virtually every village seemed to have a really nice pub to have lunch! We felt there was a lot more to see if we came back to Suffolk one day.

Gill and Michael are wonderful hosts. We had arranged to arrive the evening before they departed for another exchange in Cornwall. We had a wonderful meal and lovely evening getting to know them and their recommendations first hand. There beautiful home and garden is in a pretty village with a most attractive small church just a few miles from Bury St Edmunds and with easy access to all parts of Suffolk and south Norfolk that a visitor could wish to see. We have just completed the non simultaneous exchange and we returned to a wonderfully clean house and with a substantial propostion of the bedine washed ironed and bed re-made. Wonderful exchangers.

We had a super time, in a super home with a super garden. Good day birding at Lackford Lakes, great Sunday lunch at "The Plough" Rede. We thank you Gill & Michael for leaving our home in first class order, it was much appreciated.
