The neighborhood is a urbanization very peaceful. It is placed in a very sloped hill, half a mile from the village, where there are al the facilities. It is located 9 miles far away from Granada, the city of the Alhambra and Generalife, where you can drive through highway. There you can also visit the Albaycín, a mourish quarter, the Cathedral, the Realejo (another quarter) and the downtown which is awesome. To the north is 25 miles from Sierra Nevada, the highest mountain of Spain, where you can do trekking. The Tropical Coast (Motril, Almuñécar, Salobreña) is also located 25 miles away to the south.
And then, 25 miles far away is located the Alpujarras, a mourish region where the highgest city of Europe is located. You can visit Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira, wonderful villages.
The whole region (Andalucía) is connected by highways so you can visit, Sevilla, Málaga, Córdoba... between 2 and 3 hours driving.
