La estancia en casa de Mariam y Miquel ha sido un lujo. Lugar agradable, limpio, ordenado y atendiendo todas nuestras posibles necesidades. La primera cena que nos dejaron preparada la disfrutamos de verdad, así como las recomendaciones de bares y restaurantes. El hecho de disponer de garaje facilitó que hiciéramos visitas de día para conocer la isla. Muchas gracias por todo. Hasta los encuentros fugaces en los aeropuertos fueron divertidos. Una estancia completa que nos deja ganas de volver.

We spent a wonderful week at Marian and Miquel's. We found their apartment exquisite, so well-equipped and tastefully decorated. We especially liked the views on the sea and the trees, as well as the quite neighbourhood which allowed a perfect rest. We appreciated the little, cosy beach nearby. It was easy getting to Palma with bus 3 just down the street. Getting out of town to discover the Island was equally easy. The North and the South have stunning landscapes and heritage sites (special mention for the sanctuary of Lluc!). Marian and Miquel have been very considerate and thoughtful hosts. We arrived in a well prepared apartment in which we felt comfortable straight away. We had very friendly and helpful emails all through and discussed many things, prior to the exchange, including some important hints ,which were helpful for our stay. We enjoyed both sun terraces in the apartment as the weather was lovely at Easter. We visited Palma with its cathedral, museum, old town and shops; also Portocolum, a beautiful quiet harbour; the small village of Selva and the nearby Caves of Campanent in the quiet countryside: the mountains, the historic village of Valdemossa: Port Andratx, Portals Nous – there are lots of boats in Majorca! We also went to La Granja which was a complex showing the history of Majorca. The highlight was a boat trip to Sa Calobra, a lovely little harbour with a fascinating beach nearby and sitting on the quay in the sunshine at the Port of Soller afterwards watching the wooden tram go by. There is a supermarket within a short drive of the apartment, and a bakery, a small beach with a lift, and buses into Palma at the bottom of the road with other beaches all over the island.
