Besides travel we like training, hiking, skiing, gardening, wine and cooking. We have made five successful exchanges together with our children, twice in the US and three in Europe. The last time was in 2004 so we are now looking forward to explore the possibilities of exchanging our home again. We are looking for an exchange in a hiking area somewhere in Europe.

Beschreibung unseres Tauschangebotes
We live in a light modern house built in 2013 only 3 km from the citycenter. We have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. In one of the bedrooms we have a sofa bed which is suitable for one or two children.The house has two terraces, one at the front with a view over the river where you also can swim. At the back of the house there are a bigger terrace with a barbeque area. The garden has a small lawn and a pergola where you can relax and enjoy our long an light summer evenings.

Our house is located close to the river Klarälven which flows through Karlstad, a beautiful city next to the lake Vänern in the middle of Scandinavia. The city center offers several nice restaurants and shopping. Our landscape consists of many lakes, forests and a rich cultural life. From our house you can walk to "Mariebergsskogen"which is a recreational area. Here you will find local farm animals, several playgrounds, a sandy beach, minigolf etc. On the river Klarälven you can discover the city and the archipelago on "Boat-buses" during the summer. In the citycenter there are a museum, galleries, shops and several nice restaurants and cafés. You can also eat and drink in the harbor just five minutes from the citycenter.
