Our home is located in the Surrey Hills known for its outstanding beauty.

We live in a very quite and peaceful area, with much wildlife.

The nearest village Bookham is thousands of years old.
It would be an excellent place to explore London and the English Countryside from.

Walking distance (10min) to main line train; taking you into London in 30 min - Portsmouth 35 min.
The train system being so extensive in England you could travel as far as Scotland, Wales or Cornwall.

We are a next door to National Trust Woodlands (bird Watching and sanctuary), local pubs, resturants and shops. We also have 6 bikes avail for exploring the vast amount of bike pathways in our area. Site of the Bike Race for the Olympics 2012; this area has extensive bike routes or you could follow the path of the Olympics.
Local bus service 3 min walk.

Several National Trust properties close by; Box Hill, Polesden Lacey, Leith Hill, Claremont, Clandon Park, Hatchlands Park (just to name a few)for great walking, historic buildings and extreme beauty. As well as the world famous Royal Horicultural Gardens at Wisley; 10 min away. Hampton Court Palace;10 min away.
Brighton and the Sussex Downs 45min drive.

We are close by the river Wey and the River Thames so you could rent a canal boat to explore the rivers and their treasures.

The largest winery in England - Denbies Wine Estate - is just down the road. Tours and tastings available on a regurlary basis.

There are many childrens activities close by, Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland, farms, playgrounds, adventure playgrounds, outdoor and indoor public pools.
When you are not busy exploring you could sit outside on our patio, have a bar-be-que and relax enjoying the peace and quiet.

Located close by are several fly fisheries, shooting facilities as well as golf courses.
Gatwick Airport and Hethrow are approx 45 min away by car or accesible by train.
