Nous avons redécouvert en famille la Toscane et ses merveilles, la maison est bien située pour visiter Pise, Lucques, Florence, Sienne, la région du Chianti, Vinci, Carrare... les monts et la plage ne sont pas loin non plus. Nous avons apprécié les paysages, les richesses culturelles et la gastronomie...et la dolce vita ! Encore merci ! Sophie&family

Un grand merci à Pier Luigi et Franca! Notre séjour d'une semaine en Toscane s'est merveilleusement bien déroulé. Pier Luigi et Franca sont des hôtes très expérimentés et attentionnés, et ils ont parfaitement pris soin de notre appartement. Leur maison a de longues histoires à raconter, liées à celles de la poterie et de la céramique, et leur jardin rocailleux est joliment fleuri. Le village permet d'être hors des sentiers battus, mais aussi de rayonner en voiture pour faire de très belles découvertes: Pise (qui ne se limite pas à sa fameuse tour!), Lucques (ses concerts autour de Puccini sont de grande qualité: allez-y sans hésiter!) et la villa Torrigiani, les cités médiévales de San Gimignano et Volterra (et leurs vues magnifiques sur la campagne environnante). Le trajet en train vers Florence se fait rapidement (40 minutes) et aisément depuis la gare de Pontedera. Et le printemps est la saison idéale pour arpenter la Toscane, ses collines verdoyantes et méditerranéennes, et pour explorer un patrimoine particulièrement riche. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir eu plus de temps pour aller jusqu'à Sienne, et aussi pour faire davantage de marche à pied!

Wir konnten uns dank der Klimaanlage auch bei grosser Hitze wohlfühlen. Das Haus war praktisch eingerichtet und sauber. Die Nähe zum Strand war ideal und Möglichkeiten um Essen zu gehen waren reichlich vorhanden. Danke dass wir mit euch tauschen durften

We spent a wonderful time - close to mountains and the sea. We loved it. Nice communication, good caring. So many towns, villages, lots of nature to see.

Excellent introductions, air-condition and there is a beautiful area around. A very good echange. We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay in San Giovanni alla Vena a lot. A very typical Tuscan house with full of terracotta glazed pots and of course the friendly neighbours! A lot of documentation about the area, very good information concerning the house and even an excellent itinerary to reach the house from Pisa airport.... The region has been fantastic for us: beautiful landscapes, white pebbles beaches, good food, interesting Medieval villages and stunning cities like Firenze, Pisa and Lucca. We will come back to explore more of Tuscany! Thank you Pierluigi and Franca!

Grazie a Pierluigi e Franca abbiamo potuto conoscere una parte della Toscana ricca di storia e cultura. La posizione è ottima per visitare Pisa, Lucca e i paesini deliziosi della zona. Volterra è rimasta nel nostro cuore. La casa è davvero ben fornita di istruzioni, cartine, guide e libri interessanti per approfondire la conoscenza del territorio. Merita una visita guidata Vicopisano! L'ambiente è pulito e arredato con cura. I padroni di casa sono attenti agli ospiti e veri esperti dello scambio casa.

We had a wonderful two weeks here and visited many places far and wide! You need a car but we enjoyed local,walks too. We would come again for more Italian wine which we learned a lot about and sampled widely!! Thank you for letting us learn more about your country and giving us such a nice place to do,it from. We had a wonderful week in this house. It is ideally situated for Pisa airport and with excellent instructions, the house was easy to find, even arriving late at night. We were well placed to visit Lucca, Pisa, Florence and much more. We even had time to relax on the sun terrace. Going to the local bar for WiFi was no hardship. The countryside is stunning and the people friendly. This was our first visit to Italy and we loved it. We will be back.

Dopo il piacere di vederci in Susa , di accogliervi ad Embrun , abbiamo scoperto una città e una regione d'Italia bellissima e non troppo turistica . Per cio , c'era tutto il tempo di fannulare ,sulla terrazza al ombra , con vista sul mare. L'appartamento , grande , dispone di una biblioteca , e passavamo il pomerriggio a leggere . Spiaggia , la mattina per tempo, fra 8 e 11 , caffé . Spese nella città ( Tigre) , caffé , pineta , passeggiate .La vita d'un estivante ,il mare ,mangiare sulla terrazza ,sempre ,bevere l'ascqua della sorgente accanto al Arum . Ottimissime vacanze ! Le more ! E il contatto ! Fra noi , Franca e Pier Luigi passava il corrente de l'amicizia !

We spent three weeks in August in Pescara, Abruzzen, in the house of Pierluigi and family. The apartment of Pierluigi and wife is pretty well equiped and we enjoyed sitting on the big balcony and green garden. The place is located on a slope with a nice view on the ocean 1km away from the beach. The mountains and many other nice excursions are near and you should rent a car to explore. The whole family is very kind and uncomplicated and helpful. The son Rafaelo shows us the mountains with family and we had great time all together. Thanks Franca and Pierluigi!! We were lucky to meet in person and they are a very nice couple. If we ever return to Pescara we should contact them by no doubt!. Cheers

We stayed 2 weeks in the house, located in a small village, between Pisa and Florence. It was a perfect hub for us to see the highlights of Tuscany. Also the beaches and Cinque Terre could easily be reached. It was no problem to stay in the village for day as well. For the children there was fairground at the time we were there, a playground and some local shops. Previously unkown to us, but very beautiful in the vicinity of San Giovanni alla Vena are the castleof Vicapisano and the Roman city Cascina. The house is fully equipped, full of detailed information for sightseeing and with two terrasses, there is always sun/shadow.

Abbiamo passato due settimane in questo angolino di Toscana e alla fine veramente ci dispiaceva partire..... La casa è corredata di tutto quello che può servire, fin troppo grande per noi che eravamo solo in due. Pisa, Lucca, Livorno. Firenze e Pistoia sono vicinissime, abbiamo spaziato in lungo e in largo prendendo veramente possesso del territorio, come solo la formula dello scambio casa permette di fare. Anche le indicazioni che abbiamo trovato in casa, lasciate per noi da Franca e Pierluigi, sono state utilissime. Il nostro vicino, un amabile signore di ben 91 anni!, ha suonato per noi la fisarmonica, cosa volere di più? Il paesino è piccolo ma ci sono tutti i servizi essenziali e vicinissimo a supermercati, dove all'occorrenza si può fare una spesa più consistente. Noi per quanto ci riguarda siamo stati buoni clienti dei ristoranti..... Al rientro abbiamo trovato il nostro appartamento di Trieste in uno stato impeccabile, grazie Franca e Pierluigi.
