The flat is in an elegant town house (hôtel particulier), built between XIth and XVIIIth centuries. This period building (listed as historic monument) is the oldest house in Romans. The flat is on the first floor, and has generous proportions (120 sqm). The entrance room has a high ceiling and overlooks the river Isère. The sitting room, with curved walls, has a period fireplace. There are works of art throughout the flat. From here there is a unique view over a courtyard and gothic stairs which feature wonderful stone carving. Bedroom 1 is large with a high ceiling. It is furnished with a futon which sleeps two. Bedroom 2 has a view of the tower of the Earls of Clérieu. The kitchen, in keeping with the rest of the flat, provides all kitchen utensils.
