Our home is set in a pretty farming village about 2km from the cathedral town of Wells and about 30km from the Roman city of Bath. It was a Victorian schoolmistress's house.

There are historical buildings in Wells and Glastonbury and a number of National Trust properties within an hour's drive. The nearby cities of Bath, Britol and Exeter are historical and cultural centres. There is good - and flat! - cycling on the Somerset levels (bikes can be rented in Wells) and many footpaths in the Mendip Hills. Many rustic and more up-market pubs can be found within a radius of 15 kms and both Bath and Bristol are well serviced by well known restaurants. We will leave a more detailed list of attractions and websites in a folder for visitors.
