Walk five minutes from our home to get to the bustling high street of Waterloo! You will find shops and restaurants for all tastes and price points. We are also a short walk away from the countryside trails, where you can walk, run or bike. Our local lake is a lovely place to go and walk also, or just sit and have a picnic. Waterloo is famous for having hosted the battle Of Waterloo, so a visit to the « butte » is a must! We are close to other architectural sites, such as the abbaye of Villiers, an old monastery. We are a short car, train or bus ride ( all in between 25 and 40 mins) from central Brussels, where you will find many tourist attractions such as the Atomium, the grand-place and other museums, such as the Bozar. We also have easy access to many other towns and city a stones through from Waterloo such as Namur, Charleroi, liege, Leuven and Antwerp!
