Our home is located near the tip of the quiet peninsula between the Parramatta and Lane Cove Rivers, (where they join to form the main Sydney Harbour).
Woolwich/Hunters Hill was the first suburb established on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour, by French and Italian merchants, bringing their own architects and stonemasons.
Our home and it's neighbour were originally two identical Victorian workmans' cottages, subsequently renovated differently to fit lifestyle, and capture views.
250 metres stroll to the ferry, and then 20 mins scenic ride to the Opera House, travelling under the Harbour Bridge.
Once at city (Circular Quay) you join the entire harbour ferry network.....to Manly beach etc.. Bus service from our front door, to Gladesville for shopping (7km)
City metro train and bus network is also at Circular Quay. (including trains to Sydney Airport.)

Flat scenic walks along nearby Woolwich foreshore reserve and Kelly's Bush (unique natural bushland pocket 7 km from city centre) and historic homes in this safe secluded neighbourhood.
Woolwich is the start of the 'Great North Walk' whereby one can walk for hundreds of Kms north!
500m stroll to stylish Woolwich Pier Hotel,(upstairs glassed balcony with panoramic harbour views) and another 2 restaurants nearby.
Just opposite Pier Hotel is unique Woolwich historic Dry Dock, hewn in the sandstone cliff.
We also have a working beef cattle station homestead "Greylands" in the Hunter Valley available for exchange (200km north).
