Our holiday in Christchurch was a joy to experience. The wide range of sights to see and activities to take part in was beyond expectation. Roman ruins (Bath), impressive cathedrals (The Priory & Salisbury), nature walks (Hengistbury Head & New Forest NP) and the surprising Beaulieu with Palace House / National Motor Museum were all easily accessible. David and Wendy's home is beautiful and comfortable - a pleasant oasis to return to after sightseeing. We also very much enjoyed meeting them both (and daughter, Lucy) at the airport before their flight to Seattle. We were blessed to spend a holiday in Dorset!

We had a wonderful week based at David and Wendy's comfortable, stylish and well-equipped home. It is so well placed for walks into beautiful Chichester or to the beach or onto Hengistbury Head which was stunning. It is also great for visits further afield - particularly the New Forest and Solent coast. Thank you for your hospitality!

It was a pure delight to stay in David and Wendy’s comfortable welcoming home, in a quiet village setting, so near to the sea. As a result we were able to enjoy a range of beaches like Avon, Muddiford and Sandbanks as well as the cliffs at Southborne and Milford on Sea. Within easy reach are ▪️Lymington quay ▪️Poole with its interesting museum of local history (third floor cafe terrace overlooking the historic high street and roofscapes and edge of quay) ▪️The delightful love and public service story of Merton and Annie Russell Cotes, avid art collectors who left their home and art collection to Bournemouth ▪️Christchurch market and ancient priory church. Food and service at The Noisy Lobster and the Captain’s Club were exemplary. A thoroughly varied houseswap experience. Many thanks Marcus & Deb

David and Wendy's house is in a superb location to take advantage of both the river Stour and the coast. You can walk to the ferry in 5 minutes, which will take you to Christchurch or down to the Mudeford Sandspit. You can also walk to the lovely sandy beaches in 10 minutes and then up to the top of Hengistsbury Head. We hardly used the car. The house is well equipped and easy to live in. There is delightful garden, with sun throughout the day, to relax. We had a great time!

We had a very pleasant three weeks in Christchurch. There were a number of pleasant walks nearby as well as easy access to a few interesting restaurants.
