Our home is an Edwardian house in St Albans, UK. We think our house is beautiful, it was built in 1903 and we have spent much time modernising it whilst trying to retain its period features.

You enter into a little entrance hallway where we store our shoes. This leads to an open-plan lounge/dining room with dual aspect windows, there is also a wood burner which we use in the winter time. Additionally, there is a kitchen and conservatory. There is a downstairs toilet.

On the second floor, are three bedrooms including our room which contains a king sized bed and two windows to the front of the house. There is a pretty single room with a period fireplace and lots of toys. Furthermore, on this floor, there is another larger, single bedroom which has a further pull-out bed. This room contains a beautiful window with coloured glass. The family bathroom is next to our bedroom. It is small but clean and bright and contains an antique tile border.

On the third floor, is a loft room where there is a large sofa bed. This is where our family and friends stay when they visit, it is bright and airy and has views out to the countryside.

Outside, there is a small front garden so the house is set back from the street. At the rear of the house is a small back garden but enough space for the kids to play.
