From our house its a 20 min leisurely walk to downtown Redwood City where you'll find restaurants, cafes and a cinema. San Francisco with all its attraction is 30-40 minutes by car or train, as is San Jose with its museums.Half Moon Bay and the ocean is a short 30 minutes drive, and closer to home you have many beautiful nature hikes in the hills overlooking the bay. Stanford university, Stanford Shopping Mall and palo alto with its trendy restaurants and shopping are 15 minutes away by bus or car.
