Jim and I are both retired and looking forward to exchanging homes to learn more about where you live while sharing our favorite activities with those who want to come to the coast of Maine. We love to try new food, hike different trails and experience new places. We both love to play pickleball and ukuleles, neither very seriously and always for fun. We hope to find new music venues to hear local talent and enjoy craft brews while meeting new friends along the way.

Cozy 2-bedroom cabin facing Maine lake with kayak accessibility. Enjoy warmer seasons on the lake kayaking, fishing, and swimming. We are just a 10-minute drive to the ocean. The cabin was entirely renovated in 2018 and offers a huge wrap around porch to enjoy beautiful sunsets over Norton Pond, complete with a pair of loons. Just a half-mile down the road there is a public beach and boat access to the lake, as well as the Lincolnville General Store and library.

Our neighborhood is very quiet with just the lake across the street and a wooded area on one side with a brook to kayak (available to use) to the lake. The cabin is situated on almost 3 acres, with a wooded area in the back as well. Within walking distance are the small-town library, town dock for boating and fishing, and the wonderful general store for prepared meals or last-minute items. Lincolnville Beach is nearby and Camden for shopping, sailing trips, and concerts.

From our cozy cabin, it is a short walk to the small town library, general store and public lake beach with boating access. There are hiking trails available in nearby Camden Hills Park as well as tourist attractions like sailing and boating trips available out of the ocean harbor in Camden. Camden and nearby Rockland have many music events year-round as well as the Wyeth Art Museum and many wonderful restaurants.

We would ask for no pets as we don't have any ourselves. Other than that, a variation of the golden rule, to exchange from us as you would want us to exchange with you! There is a washing machine and dryer available and all cleaning supplies, so any cleaning up after your stay is greatly appreciated.
