It is an upscale Urban Village in a semi-rural area 13 miles west of Charlottesville, 30 minutes east of Staunton and The American Shakespeare Theater, and 15 minutes from the entrance of Shenandoah National with access to spectacular fall views, skiing in winter, and hiking numerous trails. The neighborhood is largely single family professional units with a few town houses, a coffee shop and pub, a golf course, a swimming pool, and hiking trails within the community. Monticello and UVA are 15 minutes away by Interstate 64, and there is an inexpensive commuter train to Washington, DC along the Amtrak corridor. (2 hours into Alexandria, VA with metro access there to nearby Reagan National Airport or a bus in Rossyln to NYC.
