The City is a centre of wine production in southern Germany but also a part of the cultural and industrial heart of Germany. It has been rebuilt after WW II but there are some preserved, historic buildings like a renaissance church and townhall, too. A recently built science center in a walking distance is very attractive for families. In addition the city offers all kind of pasttime as you can imagine in a city of this size.Our home is also situated perfectly to explore Baden-Württemberg:

Bus stop ist 5 min. away, tram stop 10 min. Our house can be easily reached and left for other intersting places by car and is connected perfectly by german Autobahn to Stuttgart, Würzburg (A81), Nuremberg (A6), Heidelberg, Mannheim and Karlsruhe. There exists a good connection to Heidelberg and Stuttgart by train (1h) and a connection by tram to Karlsruhe (1,5h).

There exists a well signed cycling and hiking network between the cities around Heilbronn and the valley of the river Neckar, too
