Thank you to Elspeth, Rafa and the children. This was a very short weekend stay, but the house is in a lovely quiet part of Edinburgh that is easily accessible for the city centre and all that Edinburgh has to offer. From the front of the house Arthur's Seat can be seen and many climbers were witnessed traversing their way to the top. Another time for us maybe, as we were in Edinburgh to share in Elizabeth's sister's 60th birthday party celebrations. The house was very spacious and comfortable and we all slept well and had a great stay. Thank you again for being such lovely hosts (it was really lovely to meet you in person for the key swap). We had an enjoyable exchange in Elspeth’s, Raph’s, Ianthe’s and Seb’s home. We had the pleasure to meet the family in Finland before we went to Edinburgh. Their home is just 2-3km from the Edinburgh old town and still in a quiet area. Their home was lovely and cosy. All the communication with them was very smooth. We loved Edinburgh and the surroundings. We truly recommend having an exchange with them.

Ideal location for visiting Edinburgh. Very good communication before and during the stay. The house is nice. Thanks to Elsphet and Raphaël for this exchange which allowed us to discover a part of Scotland and to meet our friends.

A lovely, welcoming home in a great location!

Everything was ready when we got to a comfortable family home and nice garden where we would pick up raspberries for breakfast almost every morning. So speciat to be just oposite Arthur's seat and to be within walking distance from nearly everywhere in town. Elspeth had left all sorts of leafleats and brochures which helped us make our way around. Always in touch via email, everything was easy to check and sort out. We were also able to tour Scotland a bit for which Edimburgh is a perfect location. Thank you Elspeth, Raph, Iante and Sebastian for a great experience and for allowing us to have the holidays we like: "at home", exploring places at our own pace and a bit off the beaten track.
