The station for the mountain chairlift is less than a kilometre away but you can also use the free shuttle bus to get there. There are two beautiful swimming lakes quite close. The famous "Grand Swiss Canyon" is also located in Flims and is wonderful to visit or for river rafting. The Tectonic Arena Sardona (UNESCO world nature heritage) can be seen from our house and can be visited by hiking. In general, Flims is a well known destination for hiking, mountain biking, swimming in summer and for different winter activities (e.g. skiing, curling).
