Dordrecht itself is a 120K inhabitant city. A typical old Dutch city with canals, little ports and nice boutiques and restaurants. The city was born where 3 rivers cross each other. Groothooft is the centre spot of this famous crossing point.

Outside of Dordrecht you will find the typical Dutch countryside: Interesting spots would be Kinderdijk - UNESCO heritage (windmills) and De Biesbosch (protected nature area). You can take the Waterboat near to our house (100m) to go to Kinderdijk or Rotterdam.
Beaches (North Sea) at approximately 1 hour drive.
