This 25 m2/270 ft2 sunny apartment with ensuite bathroom is one of the most beautiful spaces in our monumental 17th century house. It is situated on the ground floor, an elaborately decorated authentic section of our 4 stories private residence. With its 3.60 m/12 ft height and huge French doors opening to the garden, this cozy apartment is well lit and offers a hideaway in which to enjoy relaxation in the city’s centre.

It is perfect for a short-stay visit to Amsterdam. There is no kitchenette, but you'll find coffee/tea making facilities and some cutlery and plates to prepare breakfast etc.

The apartment is decorated with a library with integrated work desk, a fireplace, wardrobe space for your clothes, a dining table, a comfortable sofa bed (145 x 200 cm) and TV. High speed internet is available via a LAN access point and via WiFi. The 2.5 m2/27 ft2 ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet, wash basin and storage space for your toiletries.
The apartment is centrally heated with an individual thermostat. The fireplace can be used according to our instructions; there are strict fire regulations.

From the French doors you have a wide view over the inner gardens of Keizersgracht and Herengracht, and access to a small private terrace. The entire house is non-smoking, but you can smoke in the garden.

Like most of the 17th century canal houses the front door is higher up than street level, and accessible via 5 to 7 steps stairs. The apartment therefore is not really suitable for anyone with mobility challenges. Also it's not suitable for children.
