Lisette, Wouter and Joran are so nice and kind, especially with our dog Kifi. They took care of the dog, the garden and the house with attention. And they live in a really nice and comfortable house; in a beautiful city, near nature, sea and historic cities. It was perfect hollidays. we enjoyed a lot. Thanks again. We had a great time at Lisette and Wouter's house, and they were so nice to give us an exclusive tour of Alkmaar on our first day! The house was nice and clean and their cat Lisa was very friendly. The area is very good to explore the Noord-Holland. Overall, it was such a wonderful holiday!

This was our first exchange and Lisette, Wouter and Joran could not have been better home exchange guests. Our dog, Tess, is still missing them! Their home is very comfortable and we felt completely relaxed from the very beginning. Alkmaar is a pretty town with nice cafes, restaurants etc and some quirky small museums. We enjoyed going north - particularly to Texal and to the dunes - and discovering a new part of the world for us. And then of course there is Amsterdam - very easy to get to by train - with so much to see and do. A lovely, relaxing holiday!

Een fijn centraal gelegen woonhuis in Alkmaar van waaruit je lopend naar de stad kan. Alkmaar is een leuke stad. Leuke uitstapjes gemaakt naar Amsterdam, Volendam, Edam en Hoorn. Genoten van het polderlandschap met de molens en mooie boerderijen. Prima fietsen om de buurt te verkennen. We hebben echt genoten. Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid.
