We had a wonderful stay at Alistair and Anni’s beautiful art-filled home perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. Setting up the swap was straightforward and we met Alistair and Anni at their home for the handover and they couldn’t have been more helpful and informative. The house and garden are both relaxing and we loved just spending time watching the boats come and go from Eagle Creek. We saw hummingbirds and hawks and a raccoon in the garden. There was plenty to do locally. We rode the e-bikes to Dundarave. We swam in Cat Lake in Squamish. We caught the ferry from Horseshoe Bay (5 minutes drive away) to Bowen Island for the day and to Vancouver Island, for a longer trip to Telegraph Cove to whale and bear watch. We visited the shops, restaurants and art galleries in Downtown Vancouver. We would definitely recommend a home swap with Alistair and Anni and we would love to go again!
