Summerland is a small town on the west side of Okanagan Lake in the interior of Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. The district is between Peachland to the north and Penticton to the south. The largest centre in the region is Kelowna, approximately 50 km to the north, and Vancouver is approximately 425 km away to the west. The district is famous for "Bottleneck Drive", a system of roads connecting a large number of wineries with wonderful restaurants.
Our neighbourhood is a beautifully maintained gated community called La Vista Estates. We are just a few minutes walk from all the amenities and our lovely town is set in picturesque surroundings.
From our house it is a 5 minute drive to beaches on the lake for swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing. For winter sports it’s a 45 minute drive to Apex Ski Resort and 1 1/2 hour drive to our bigger Big White Ski Resort. It is a 5 hour drive to our majestic Canadian Rockies - Lake Louise, Banff, Jasper.

The Okanagan Valley is a great place for sunbathing on fabulous beaches, swimming, boating, sailing, kayaking, hiking, biking (bike tours will take you from winery to winery), skiing, snowboarding, theatres, symphony, fine dining and much more.

Kelowna is an all-season vacation destination with 25 golf courses, 60 wineries and 4 ski hills all within an hour's drive. Big White and Silver Star are two of the best reasonable priced ski resorts in North America. World famous Kettle Valley Railway Bike Trail and Steam Train are nearby.
