Our house is located in a pleasant plain setting, 10 minutes from the historic center of Perugia. A few steps away there is a small beautiful park with a playground and a roller-skating rink and a cycle path to reach the river where it continues along a large part of the Tiber (Tiber Fluvial Park). Next to our house A one-minute walk away there is a bakery and a pharmacy, and a few minutes walk away a supermarket and a newsagent. Nearby (Ponte San Giovanni, less than 1 km) there are shops and bars and the municipal swimming pool.
Less than an hour's drive away there are beautiful and interesting places to visit: Spoleto (Festival of 2 Worlds: international art festival in July), Todi, Assisi, Orvieto, Gubbio, and the Marmore Falls near Terni. In Perugia, in July you can find a very exciting international jazz festival. Just over an hour away are the Sibillini Mountains and the Castelluccio Plain: beautiful walks, excursions, climbing, and an adventure park. Lake Trasimeno is 30 minutes away: beaches, sailing, canoeing, walking. Rome 2 hours away, Florence 1 hour and a half. You can also reach them by train or bus.
