Located in the upscale residential are of Anzio called Lavinio. With a beautiful park right next door ideal for kids and walking distance from nice cafes, supermarkets and other shops.
The beautiful historic town of Anzio is well known for its seaside harbor setting, it is a fishing port with the best seafood of Italy and the sole departure point for ferries to the magical island of Ponza.
The sea here is "blue flagged", meaning: cleanest water in Italy. Anzio is also known as the site of the landing of allied forces (Operation Shingle) and the battle of four months that followed (Anzio Campaign) during World War II. The Battle of Anzio is depicted in the movie The Wall by Pink Floyd and The Landing of Anzio Edward Dmytryk. Anzio is also the birthplace of the emperors Caligula and Nerone.
We have great restaurants, café, shops, etc within walking distance, well as countryside and historic places.
