Our house was built in 1927 and has been completely renovated. It can comfortably accommodate 4-6 people. It has oak flooring and woodwork throughout. There are two floors plus a basement, 4 bedrooms, living room with fireplace, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, back yard with patio and a small garden with herbs and veggies.

We live in the southwest of Iceland in a quiet residential area Hafnarfjordur, that has a small downtown (7 min. walk) with coffe house, bakery, shops, a art gallery and full service. Our house is located on a one way street that leads to the harbor with a nice walkway. Downtown Reykjavik is only 15 minutes away by car. Reykjavik is a wonderful city in the summer with many caffes, bars, diverse resturants, galleries and museums. Few hours from our house there are many interesting sights to visit such as the Blue lagoon, geysers, glacier (with day trips) newly erupted volcano and national parks. Few minute drive from our house is a warm beach (has heated ocean and tubs).
