Nous avons passé une semaine dans la maison de Florence et Serge à Compiègne. La maison était impeccable! Ils avaient laissé quelques petites attentions que nous avons beaucoup appréciés! Le contact avec Florence et Serge se passait de manière très sympa. Ils étaient toujours prêts à nous informer et à répondre à nos questions. La région est très belle et vous pouvez y visiter de petits villages (Sinlis p.ex.), mais également de beaux châteaux (Le Château de Chantilly p.ex.) ou faire de belles promenades dans la nature. Wim y a p. ex. fait de beaux tours à bicyclette dans les vastes forêts. Un très grand merci, Florence et Serge, pour cet échange super bien réussi!

Thank you to Florence and Serge for a perfect exchange to Compiègne region. Best preparation and a lot of cultural offers to dive into local French live and historie. A very nice home and friendly communication with Florence and Serge. We enjoyed it very much and recomment this location.

Our exchange with Florence and Serge was very pleasant. We arrived in a beautiful house with a very hearty welcome and we felt at home from the first day. They gave us lots of information about Compiègne and surroundings. Compiègne is an interesting historic town with all the facilities you need. A top attraction is the Palace with a nice museum and a very beautiful Palace garden and all that just around the corner at the end of the street. Behind the Palace park is an extensive forest with many trails for endless walking, running hiking, cycling or just for a stroll. An historic place in the forest is the clairère de l'armistice, the open space in the woods where the weapon stand still was signed in 1918 in a train carriage at the end of WOI. The train carriage is exposed in an interesting museum at the spot. And there is much more to explore in the region. Merci beaucoup Florence and Serge for this very pleasant stay and for the tidy house we found arriving back home. Sincères salutations.

The house is warm and welcoming, and Serge and Florence are very generous hosts. The city and region has much to offer: the imperial palace in Compiegne, the medieval town of Senlis, the richly decorated castle in Chantilly. The weather was not great early April, so we were glad to return to a nice and cosy place after our daytrips. Thanks again for a nice exchange.

Dear Florence, dear Serge... we started our vacation in France with high expectations but what awaited us at your places... exceeded everything... We are still thrilled by your wonderful house... the beautiful surroundings of your City Compiègne, Paris, which is very easy to reach from your City.We have discovered castles and we,especially our Kids, had fun in the Asterix Park und Disneyland.
