We had a nice time in the Lot with our family of four. Due to the extreme heat, we spent quite a lot of time in the swimming pool in the beautiful garden. Harry even made a watercolour painting of the pool and the house as a thank you. We saw quite a lot of the area, enjoyed the very good food and the beautiful city of Bordeaux. Quel bel endroit dont nous avons pu bénéficier chez Bernadette et Daniel. Un endroit au calme mais à une heure de route de plein de ballades intéressantes. Une belle maison et un jardin bien aménagé où il est agréable de prendre son temps. Les échanges tout au long du processus ont été efficaces et sympathiques. Notre accueil était bien organisé. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la spacieuse maison de Bernadette et Daniel, confortable, très bien équipée, on n’y manque de rien. Bon point de départ vers les bastides et petites localités alentour, le canal latéral à la Garonne, Agen et son long pont-canal, au sein d’un patrimoine naturel loin du tourisme de masse. Nous avons pu nous reposer au coin du feu de cheminée, tout comme sur la terrasse ensoleillée autour de la piscine, au cœur d’une nature auréolée par les chants des oiseaux sous un soleil printanier généreux en ce mois d’avril. Les contacts avec nos hôtes ont été chaleureux et sympathiques par Skype, téléphone, mail ou sms, avant et pendant notre séjour. A notre retour, nous avons retrouvé notre maison propre et rangée. Merci encore, Bernadette et Daniel, de nous avoir permis de profiter de votre grande demeure. Nous vous souhaitons d’autres beaux échanges à venir.

Our home exchange with Daniel and Bernadette was delayed from 2020 to 2023 due to Covid but it was worth the wait! Daniel and Bernadette were so patient and helpful as our plans changed over that time and we loved their beautiful home in Argenton. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and summer kitchen. We really enjoyed exploring the French coutryside and nearby towns and restaurants.Thank you Daniel and Bernadette for everything.

We had a brilliant exchange with Daniel and Bernadette. Their house is nestled in the forests just south of the wine region. Its next to a lovely little market town and surrounded by good restaurants. The house its self is amazing, with a beautiful pool and outdoor kitchen that we spent loads of time in. It is really spacious house and gardens and was a real sanctuary in the summer heat. The exchange its self was great with clear communication before and during the exchange. Overall it made for a very relaxing and enjoyable exchange that we'd highly recommend.

We loved our visit to Daniel and Bernadette’s home. They were extremely helpful and friendly at all stages of agreeing and then during the exchange. Their home is amazing and they left plenty of information about anything and everything we may wish to do. We throughly enjoyed their home, especially the pool, and local area and would definitely recommend them as exchange partners.

Maison très spacieuse et tout confort en bordure de forêt. Vaste jardin où l'on entend les oiseaux gazouiller en permanence. Avis aux amateurs de vélo : très belles petites routes avec de jolis points de vue à deux pas de la maison. Lac de Clarens = très chouette coin baignade avec vue sur une forêt de pins.

5 jours très sympathique dans cette belle maison si agréable à vivre. Nous avons pu visiter la région, faire de belles ballades en campagne et profiter du jardin même si le beau temps n'était pas au rendez-vous. Nous nous sommes régalés avec les délicieuses fraises et asperges de la région. Merci encore à Bernadette et Daniel pour ce bel échange. Nous en garderons un très bon souvenir et nous recommandons sans hésiter.

We spent two wonderful weeks in Daniel and Bernadette's house. Everything was well prepared for us and we felt very comfortable. The outdoor kitchen and the pool are wonderful. The house is well placed in the middle of trees in a very quiet area. Daniel and Bernadette are very helpful and the communication was always very good. Thank you!

Deux belles semaines dans votre grande et confortable maison où tout est mis à disposition pour un excellent séjour. Que de délicieux moments passés au bord de la grande piscine ou dans la cuisine d'été ! Nous avons aussi fait beaucoup de vélo le long du canal des Deux Mers et dans la vallée du Lot, découvert de belles bastides et goûté de bons produits locaux ! Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité avant, pendant et après le séjour (et d'avoir bien pris soin de notre petit chat !)
