Our home is a recently remodeled 1,300-square-foot, 3rd-floor apartment right in the center of beautiful Nancy, France. The building dates to 1890 and is directly across the street from the train station, which in a few hours can take you to Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Belgium, not to mention all around France. (Paris is just over an hour away on the high-speed train.) The apartment features three bedrooms, one of which is currently an office but we use it as a guest bedroom as well. There's lots of light with windows on three sides, hardwood floors, marble fireplaces and high ceilings. There's also a beautiful shared garden on the ground floor complete with a bbq grill. Car exchange is also a possibility. Nancy is a gorgeous city, known for its art nouveau architecture and UNESCO world heritage site Place Stanislas. There's an amazing bakery two minutes away from our apartment, along with a mini-supermarket and lots of restaurants, and just around the corner is a lovely park with a playground.
